Hit-and-run suspect in Appleton still at large

The  who is responsible for the serious injuries sustained by a student at Lawrence University is still at large, a report stated on Thursday, January 9.

Sophomore Shannon Grant had her pelvis and leg broken after a vehicle driven by an unidentified female struck her on College Avenue on October 9. Shannon, who is currently undergoing rehabilitation treatment, expressed frustration and anger at the driver who caused her injuries.

The Appleton Police Department is still coordinating with the Fox Valley community by disseminating posters to help identify the driver. A reward of $2,500 is being offered by the university to any person who provides legitimate information regarding the driver.

Often times, pedestrian accidents lead to serious injuries, or much worse, death.
