Two models of Jaguar cars in the United States will be recalled due to a stalling issue and a defective power window switch that can cause injuries to occupants, an August 15 report stated.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Jaguar is recalling 940 cars of the XF 2-liter GTDi 2013 model due to lost steering and braking assistance when the hose clamp of the charge air cooler becomes detached. In the second recall 1,989 XK convertibles from 2011-2014 are affected by a defective power window switch.
Starting September 27 dealers will address the issues by either inspecting the concerned hose or replacing the roof console of the affected cars for free.
