Car malfunction causes fatal accident on I-94

Posted under auto defect attorneys

On Sunday, a tire blowout caused a fatal rollover accident on I-94 in western Wisconsin. Members of the Tempe, Arizona-based band, While We’re Up, were traveling through the state while on tour when the accident took place.

The right rear tire of the band’s vehicle suffered a blowout, causing the driver to lose control. This car malfunction caused the vehicle to roll over on the busy highway. The band member that was in the front passenger seat of the car was killed on impact.

The two other individuals in the vehicle were transported to a local hospital to be treated for varying degrees of injuries, none of which were considered to be life-threatening. The 22-year-old car accident victim helped form the band in Tempe in 2010 with a friend he had met at Arizona State University.

At this time, we would like to extend our condolences to the victim’s family and friends.
