The automobile company, Kia, has recently made two announcements concerning the recalls of two different models.
The first recall was made after the Kia Rio models manufactured between 2006 and 2008 were found to have a faulty airbag detection system in place for small children. The sensor system did not detect them, and therefore could not prevent the airbag from deploying in a car accident.
The Kia Borrego was the second model to have an issue with an automotive defect, and required a national recall. The problem with this model is focused on the brake pedal mount, and it’s inability to withstand too much force. This weak pedal could cause the car to roll, and a total of 21,912 Borrego SUVs were recalled.
