The family of a boy injured at Atlanta’s major airport has filed a lawsuit against Crocs for the injuries caused by the escalator when the boy’s foot became trapped in the escalator.
The suit is seeking $2 million in damages for the injuries and permanent damage done to the boy’s foot. It also alleges that Crocs has been aware of the dangers to children since 2005. In the past, Crocs has blamed the injuries on faulty escalators and a lack of safety. No comment from the company on this lawsuit yet.
The injury was suffered in July when the boy was using an escalator in the airport. He is one of numerous children that have been injured by escalators while wearing Crocs.
