A woman remains in the hospital following an accident with a semi-trailer that took place on Tuesday. 

According to reports,  the woman swerved into the other lane of the road striking the semi-trailer on the side.  The impact of the crash sent the woman's car spinning and seriously damaged the front drivers side of the vehicle. 

The woman was rushed to the hospital by emergency workers.  She remained in the hospital and a status update on her condition was not currently available.
