An accident recently took place in Wausau.  The accident took place last Saturday in the afternoon.  According to reports, an SUV was attempting to go through an intersection as the light turned red.  Another car pulled out in front of the SUV causing a collision to occur. 

Injuries were reported and the driver of the car had to be taken to the hospital for treatment. 

This accident shows the dangers of attempting to beat a stop-light when the color turns.  If the light is yellow, it is best to slow down and come to a stop if possible.
