An accident has occurred on Interstate 90 that was caused by furniture in the middle of the highway.

The accident occurred Tuesday afternoon near La Crosse.  A driver was following behind a furniture moving truck.  A chair from the truck came loose and then flew out onto the highway.  The driver of the car tried to swerve away from the furniture.  The swerving caused the man to flip his car.  He was then taken to Gundersan Lutheran Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

The driver of the furniture truck has been charged with his role in the accident by officers.
