by Administrator 18. November 2008 08:11
A Fairbanks, Alaska man died in a snowmobile accident when his snowmobile rolled off of a road. The driver, a 20 year old who had been out with friends, was found unconscious and bleeding on the side of the trail. He suffered a head injury in the accident and was not wearing a helmet. In addition, state troopers say that the driver and his friends had been drinking alcohol prior to their drive. Alcohol seems to have played a role in the accident. The snowmobile hit a snow berm and went airborne. It then crashed through a traffic sign. The driver was injured on the landing.
