A tractor trailer crashed into a police cruiser in Mosinee during icy road conditions on I-39 on Saturday morning, injuring the police officer.

The police cruiser was pulled over to assist with an accident near Highway 153 when the driver of the semi truck lost control of his vehicle, locked his brakes, and hit the back of the cruiser, destroying it.  Several other vehicles hit the back of the tractor trailer, compounding the accident.  The police officer was taken to nearby Wausau-Aspirus Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

A ski lift accident recently took place at a Wisconsin ski resort.  The accident occurred at the resort and started when the ski lift began sending riders backwards. 

Many riders began screaming out and a chaotic scene began to play out.  Some individuals attempted to jump off of the ski-lift and others held on until the end.  A pile up began to occur at the bottom of the lift from all the individuals going backwards. 

The accident is currently under investigation to determine what caused the lift to malfunction.

A woman who was riding in her vehicle Friday afternoon in Superior, Wisconsin has lost her life following an accident in which a semi-truck crossed the median and struck the woman's vehicle. 

The fatal accident took place Friday afternoon around 2:30 p.m. The accident caused traffic to be backed-up for several hours as a result of the accident.  Emergency officials arrived on the scene to investigate, respond to the injured, and clear the debris from the road.

A young teenage girl has recently died in Wisconsin after suffering from serious head injuries sustained after falling from the back of a moving truck. 

The girl, who was only 15 years-old at the time of her death, was riding in a truck when the accident occurred.  It is not known if the girl was attempting to jump or if the girl fell from the back of the vehicle. 

The girl was rushed to a hospital by ambulance and underwent initial treatment.  The girl was then airlifted to another hospital to be treated for her injuries.  The girl would die shortly later.
