Two individuals who were employees of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville were killed in a motorcycle accident after their motorcycle struck a tractor.

The accident resulted in the death of two individuals.  A 59 year-old man and a 54 year-old woman were the two individuals killed in the accident.  According to reports,  the tractor was attempting to make a left turn on a road.  At this point,  the motorcycle was coming from the other lane of traffic and struck the tractor on its side. 

The two individuals on the motorcycle were ejected at this point.  Both were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. An investigation into the accident is currently occurring.

A 52 year-old woman from Illinois recently died while traveling through Wisconsin.  The woman was involved in an accident that took place around 7:30 p.m.

According to reports,  the woman was a passenger inside a vehicle at the time of the accident.  For unknown reasons,  the driver of the vehicle lost control and left the road.  The vehicle then struck a bridge section that was near the side of the road.  

Little information is being released related to the accident.   Authorities are attempting to contact family members before releasing information related to the accident.

Several groups are working to push legislation that would make text messaging while driving illegal.  These groups cite many studies that show the dangers of texting while driving. A recent study has shown that texting while driving is about the same amount of danger as driving

An accident recently took place in Wausau.  The accident took place last Saturday in the afternoon.  According to reports, an SUV was attempting to go through an intersection as the light turned red.  Another car pulled out in front of the SUV causing a collision to occur. 

Injuries were reported and the driver of the car had to be taken to the hospital for treatment. 

This accident shows the dangers of attempting to beat a stop-light when the color turns.  If the light is yellow, it is best to slow down and come to a stop if possible.

A woman remains in the hospital following an accident with a semi-trailer that took place on Tuesday. 

According to reports,  the woman swerved into the other lane of the road striking the semi-trailer on the side.  The impact of the crash sent the woman's car spinning and seriously damaged the front drivers side of the vehicle. 

The woman was rushed to the hospital by emergency workers.  She remained in the hospital and a status update on her condition was not currently available.
